Patient Bill of Rights

Your rights when seeking care through Cuora Health.

Respectful care

You have the right to respectful, considerate, and non-discriminatory care. Care decisions should not be based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, age, or any other protected status. You have the right to ask questions and to be treated with courtesy by support staff and clinical personnel.

Know who is treating you

You have the right to know the name, credentials, license information, and role of the clinician responsible for reviewing your information or treating you. You may ask for this information before agreeing to a treatment plan.

Understand options, risks, and costs

You have the right to understandable information about available options, expected steps, material risks, common side effects, serious risks, alternatives, costs, renewal terms, and what happens if treatment is not approved. You have the right to receive answers to reasonable questions before deciding whether to proceed.

Decline or stop treatment

You have the right to decline a recommendation, stop using the service, request cancellation before the next refill ships, or seek care from another clinician. You should tell your clinician if you stop a medication, experience side effects, become pregnant or start breastfeeding, or receive new medical advice from another healthcare professional.

Privacy and records

You have the right to have personal and health information handled according to applicable privacy laws. You may ask to access or correct records where the law gives you that right. Clinical records are maintained by Beluga Health, P.A., and pharmacy records are maintained by VS Digital Health.

Raising a concern

You may raise a question, complaint, billing issue, privacy concern, or safety concern by contacting support@getcuorahealth.com. Cuora Health will acknowledge patient concerns within a reasonable time, review the issue, route clinical concerns to appropriate clinical personnel when needed, and respond with the outcome or next step when review is complete.

Cuora Health does not provide medical advice through this website. Prescriptions are issued only when a licensed clinician determines treatment is appropriate. Individual results vary.
